Discover the joy of music through personalized one-on-one instruction in voice, piano, violin, viola, cello or guitar. Our experienced instructors tailor each lesson to the student’s age, interests, and skill level—whether beginner or advanced. Over the course of 10 weekly sessions, students build strong foundational skills, explore new techniques, and grow in confidence and creativity. These lessons offer an encouraging environment where students can develop at their own pace and connect their musical learning to personal expression, cultural heritage, and community.

Creative Arts Classes (Music, Creative Writing, and Art

Raise your voice in harmony with others in this engaging, joyful class designed to build vocal technique, performance skills, and musical confidence. Students learn breath control, pitch, diction, and expression while singing songs that reflect our shared cultural heritage and contemporary influences. This class is perfect for singers eager to explore their voice in a positive, affirming community.
Suzuki String Class — Violin, Viola & Cello

Beginning Fall 2026, the Suzuki String Class offers aspiring musicians the opportunity to study violin, viola, or cello in a joyful, community-centered environment. Led by a versatile Suzuki-trained instructor, students meet twice each week—once for small-group instruction (instrument-specific) and once for a full string ensemble that brings all instruments together.
In this blended learning experience, students build strong technique, develop listening skills, and experience the excitement of playing with others.
Parents are encouraged to attend as observers or may enroll as students to learn alongside their child—continuing the Suzuki philosophy that “every child can learn.”
Guitar Circle – Group Guitar Class

No experience needed—just bring your guitar and your enthusiasm! This small-group class introduces chords, strumming patterns, and fun songs you’ll love to play. Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Lift Every Voice: Foundations in Creative Writing

Discover the power of your voice through storytelling. This interactive course introduces students to the core elements of creative writing—including character, setting, dialogue, and plot—while exploring poetry, short stories, and scriptwriting. Inspired by the legacy of James Weldon Johnson, participants will read diverse writers, reflect on their own experiences, and develop original work in a supportive, collaborative space. Whether you’re new to writing or looking to sharpen your skills, this class will help you build confidence, unlock creativity, and tell the stories only you can tell.
Story Builders: Creative Writing for Curious Minds

Designed for young storytellers, this fun and interactive class teaches how to turn ideas into exciting narratives. Students experiment with poetry, adventure tales, and short plays while learning structure, dialogue, and descriptive language. They’ll gain confidence and creativity as they share their original work.
Telling Your Story: College Essay Writing with Creativity & Confidence

Get a head start on your college journey by writing your best college essay—one that’s honest, powerful, and uniquely you. In this creative writing workshop, you’ll explore the Common App prompts, dig into what makes your story meaningful, and learn how to turn your real-life experiences into a personal statement that stands out.
Creative Legacy Lab: Writing Your Story, Your Way

Everyone has a story worth telling. In this guided workshop, adults reflect on their life experiences through poetry, memoir, and creative expression. Participants craft short stories, essays, or poems and share their voices in a culminating community showcase or printed collection.
Art Lab: Draw, Paint & Design

Unleash your creativity in this all-in-one visual arts class! You’ll explore drawing techniques, experiment with watercolor and acrylic painting, and create custom designs for posters, t-shirts, and more. Whether you’re sketching from life or creating from imagination, Art Lab is the perfect space to explore your artistic voice and build your skills across multiple mediums.

Songs & Stories: Music, Memory & Meaning

Sing, create, and celebrate through music! In this joyful summer class, you’ll explore songs that shaped your life and create new music inspired by your experiences. Together, we’ll blend personal stories with rhythm, lyrics, and voice. Led by a professional teaching artist with guest musicians throughout, this class invites you to reconnect with music in a fun and supportive space. We’ll wrap up with a live community performance. No singing or music experience needed—just a love for music and sharing!
Voice United Summer Camp

Voice United Summer Camp is a dynamic, one-week choir experience designed for young singers ages 10–18 who are ready to grow their vocal skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music in community. Whether you’re an experienced vocalist or just love to sing, this full-day camp offers an inspiring and supportive environment where every voice matters. Campers will explore and showcase a variety of choral styles—from contemporary to traditional and global music—all while learning the fundamentals of vocal technique, harmony, and stage presence. Voice United celebrates musical excellence, collaboration, and the spirit of unity through song.
Arts in Motion: Visual & Creative Writing Camp

This summer, imagination takes center stage at Arts in Motion! Designed for creative minds ages 10–18, this flexible camp invites students to explore, express, and elevate their voices through art and writing. Campers can enroll in a morning or afternoon half-day session—or combine them for a full day of hands-on learning and artistic growth.
Morning Session — 🎨 Art Lab: Draw, Paint & Design (Ages 10–13, 14–18)
Unleash your artistic potential through drawing, watercolor, acrylics, and custom design projects. From sketching your imagination to creating real-world designs for t-shirts and posters, this hands-on session builds skills and confidence in a range of visual art techniques.
Afternoon Session — 🖋️ Story Builders: Creative Writing for Curious Minds (Ages 10–14)
Young writers will explore story structure, dialogue, poetry, and more in this fun and supportive workshop. Through creative prompts and collaborative sharing, campers learn to shape their ideas into exciting narratives while discovering their unique voice.
Afternoon Session — 📝 Telling Your Story: College Essay (High School Only)
High school students will get a head start on the college admissions process by crafting a standout personal essay. Focusing on Common App prompts, this workshop helps students reflect on meaningful experiences and turn their stories into compelling, authentic statements that resonate.
🎉 Friday Afternoon Showcase: Camp concludes with an end-of-week showcase where campers share their artwork and writing with friends and family!
